Welcome To Jillian Nowell Events & Marketing in Edmonton, Alberta

My name is Jillian, and I am the owner of Jillian Nowell Events and Marketing and Jillian Nowell Weddings.

I have always had a passion for and been a little obsessed with planning events. I would always take the lead when any friend or family member had a birthday, engagement, wedding or special occasion and jump right in planning every little detail and enjoying every minute of it. My creative side would take over whenever anyone talked about an occasion or celebration and after offering my ideas; they insisted I plan the entire thing. Having a love of all things event and wedding related, it has been my life long dream to own my own event and wedding planning company.

A big part of it for me is I love making other people happy. My reward is seeing that big smile when I am able to bring the vision of my client’s event to life!

With a background in Marketing, Public Relations and Event Planning, I offer a combination of professionalism, creativity and business skills. I have managed marketing campaigns, product launches, non-profit galas, fundraisers, golf tournaments, media launches, dance competitions and of course weddings. I am also a certified wedding planner through The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (www.wpic.ca).

Throughout my years of experience and with the many relationships I have made, I am well placed to liaise with suppliers and vendors, while negotiating on my client’s behalf, to ensure all details are executed to perfection. I stay up to date on the latest trends, while bringing my own unique sense of style and creativity to each individual event or wedding. I have 9 years of extensive experience in the travel and airline industry, and being a travel enthusiast myself, I am able to help my clients successfully plan their dream destination wedding or destination event.

My heart and soul goes into every single event and wedding that I plan, which makes my job so very rewarding. I truly pride myself on building strong relationships with my clients and their families, all of my vendors and suppliers, while bringing my clients the confidence that I can plan their event or wedding just the way they want it, while they enjoy the entire experience.
